I had spent quite some time looking for a history of Aurangzeb, and I am glad that I found this one.

Although it is an abridged version of the author’s magnum opus in several volumesintended more for the preliminary-level reader and the general populace, it is informative, remorseless, factual and yet fast-paced. A very interesting account of a famed cruel Moghul who practised religious discrimination and ruled very long. Will post a more comprehensive review once I read more of this book.
